Simon Crosby, CTO of Swim shares his predictions for 2021. According to Crosby,

• People will finally give up on the idea of storing and analyzing data as storing data before analysis is typically a million times slower than analyzing it on the fly. There will be a stronger thrust towards event-driven architectures.
• If we keep data in memory, to learn, analyze, and predict on the fly, instead of sticking on discs beforehand, we can literally go a million times faster.
• People will realize that they can transform the enterprise into a real time predictive entity, which always knows the answer before the question is asked, and which computes as data flows continuously from every part of the organization.
