0

Black Mirror is one of the few shows that give us a glimpse of how emerging technologies can go wrong. It’s chilling. Now the showrunners are coming out with a movie.

The trailer for Black Mirror: Bandersnatch is out now! Weeks after mentioning it in a post, Netflix has confirmed that the first feature-length Black Mirror ‘movie’ will be arriving on December 28, 2018.

With the odd 5 hours, 12-minute runtime, it is speculated that “Bandersnatch” could be the choose-your-own-adventure episode. There is already an interactive Minecraft show when viewers can interfere with the storyline by choosing options on the screen.

The trailer has the tagline “change your mind — change your life — change your past — your present — your future”. So you can look forward to an interactive episode this season.

The latest sci-fi movie is about a young programmer (Fionn Whitehead) in the UK circa 1984 who “begins to question reality as he adapts a sprawling fantasy novel into a video game and soon faces a mind-mangling challenge,” as per a synopsis shared by Netflix. It features actors Fionn Whitehead, Will Poulter, and Asim Chaudhury.

Let’s find out more when “Black Mirror: Bandersnatch” hits the streaming service tomorrow!
