Catalogic has added new features to CloudCasa’s service to increase its user base, particularly with the Kubernetes community driven ecosystem. Some of the introduction of new feature sets aims to increase its free users, but new features aim to convert some of the company’s free users and enterprise customers into paid offerings within that solution. Sathya Sankaran, Chief Operating Officer at CloudCasa by Catalogic, explains that this year they have delivered free vulnerability assessments for Kubernetes clusters as well as cloud accounts such as AWS accounts. The vulnerability assessment aims to tell you all the things that are potentially vulnerable. It assesses about 20 AWS services, and a configuration scan, network scan and image scan within Kubernetes too. Sankaran goes on to discuss further some of the new features Catalogic has introduced for their paid users. To find out more, watch this video.
