Robin.io has appointed former Cisco executive Simone Sassoli as Chief Customer Officer to lead the company’s growing Customer Success team.
A seasoned executive, Sassoli brings to Robin over 20 years of experience in general management, sales and marketing, engineering and customer support. At Cisco, Sassoli led global product strategy and management for the company’s Service Provider Video Software Solutions business unit.
In his new role, Sassoli will be responsible for go-to-market and support activities at Robin. This includes helping customers deliver a self-service experience for enterprise workloads including Big Data and Databases with automated workflows, scaling and lifecycle management using Robin Platform.
Sassoli said he looks forward to continuing to drive success for Robin’s customers as the company reports “6x year-over-year growth”.
Sassoli has built worldwide teams and led global product strategy and management for a number of companies including Cisco, RGB Networks, SeaChange International and General Instrument.
