Google has launched its Business Application Platform, which couples the API management capabilities of Apigee with AppSheet no-code tools.
Google’s no-code development platform is reportedly based on technology it picked early this year with AppSheet’s acquisition.
The company aims to makes it easy to build applications without having to write a line of code.
The platform helps developers benefit from APIs as building blocks to quickly build and deliver connected experiences. It also helps them migrate and modernize apps as they move to the cloud or between clouds, and activate new business channels and partnerships to monetize their proprietary applications and data.
Further, no-code app development enables users to connect to multi-cloud-hosted data sources and develop business applications to support enterprise business use cases without using a programming language.
Google introduced the platform during its nine-week Cloud Next OnAir virtual conference.
