Independent Cloud Users Create Ambitious Cloud 2030 Community

0

Cloud-Native users have banded together to create a very ambitious community called ‘The Cloud 2030’. The community is focused on the future of IT infrastructure and the cloud. It’s a place for users to collaborate on sharing resources, ideas, and creating content to help each other. The Cloud 2030 will remain a purely vendor-neutral community with plans to hosting their own remote summit to bring users together. But why they are creating a community when there is no dearth of ‘events’, ‘content’, and ‘solutions’ for the community. The problem with that, as Rob Hirschfeld – CEO of RackN – states that all this content and resources are vender specific. Everyone is trying to sell their content and lock users into their platform. The Cloud 2030 community wants to break free from that lock and create a community ‘by the community for the community’.
