Top cloud and hyperscale customers are moving towards network disaggregation to reap benefits from the innovations made in hardware and software without the both being tied to each other. Innovium is working with these customers to build robust systems that are validated and tested with open source SONiC network OS. In other words, Innovium is creating a commercially backed solution based on SONiC, which allows customers to take advantage of this open source software with full support from a commercial vendor. In this interview, we sat down with Amit Sanyal, Vice President of Marketing at Innovium, to learn more about the new SONiC-based offering and also why the industry is embracing network disaggregation.

Amit Sanyal has over 20 years of strategy, marketing and engineering leadership experience in the data center infrastructure market.
