Kenneth Bible Joins DHS As CISO

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has appointed Kenneth Bible as its chief information security officer.

As reported by FedScoop, Bible joined the agency this month.

Prior to this, Bible served as senior IT and cybersecurity official with the Marine Corps.

Before this, he also served as chief technical advisor to the Commandant of the Marine Corps for all matters pertaining to identification and validation of IT requirements.

In February 2020, Paul Beckman left position as CISO at the DHS to join Leidos JV company Consolidated Nuclear Security as CISO. After Beckman’s departure, Dr Thresa Lang took over as an acting CISO at DHS.
