Lenovo launches a 14-inch, portable monitor

Media professionals, including journalists like me, who are always on the move might want to have a second screen to give them more viewing space. I am so used to my multi-screen set-up in my office that my productivity tanks when I am restricted to single screen.

You may not know, but hardware companies sell portable monitors that can be added to laptops and are powered by USB.

Now Lenovo has introduced a 14-inch portable monitor that can be perfectly paired with your black ThinkPad.

According to Lenovo, the monitor offers a simple mobile display solution for increased screen real-estate while on the move allowing users to share content with colleagues and customers.

The 1920×1080-resolution panel offers plenty of extra screen for multi-tasking. But you can rest assured that it won’t take up too much space in your bag as the monitor weighs 1.3 pounds and measures 4.6mm thick only.

ThinkVision M14 features two USB-C ports so you can choose to position the cable either to the left or right side of your laptop. It also includes a height adjustable foot for viewing comfort.

Lenovo has plans to make the monitor available from May 2019. It will be priced at $249.
