The Reg recently published a blog about a Gartner report that says that Kubernetes doesn’t make applications portable, on the contrary, you get locked into that particular vendor. We invited Rob Hirschfeld, CEO and Co-Founder of RackN to deep dive into the report and analysis. What did come up was that Kubernetes is doing exactly what it is supposed to do, but people are trying to oversell it, just the way overenthusiastic Linux users tried to oversell Linux.
