Dell has added two new models to its Latitude Rugged laptops portfolio —- Dell Latitude 5430 Rugged and Dell Latitude 7330 Rugged Extreme. The latest models come with 11th-generation Intel Core processors, optional 5G support and run on Windows 11. According to the company, the laptops deliver an improved battery life of up to 25 hours, along with Express Charge Boost that offers up to 35 percent of charge in 20 minutes.

The Latitude 5430 Rugged laptop is claimed to be the industry’s lightest, most-powerful 14″ semi-rugged laptop, while the Latitude 7330 Rugged Extreme laptop is ready to take on the most extreme environments as the industry’s smallest 13″ fully-rugged laptop.

The laptops come with daylight-readable displays, with up to 1,400 nits of brightness and glove-touch support. Other features include TPM 2.0 ControlVault for advanced security, Wi-Fi 6E as well as optional 5G support. Integrated cryptographic keys, contacted and contactless smartcard reader and touch fingerprint reader options provide additional device security.

Both the models feature dual hot-swappable batteries that are touted to deliver up to 25 hours of power on a single charge.

These laptops are likely to be available in December this year with Windows 11 pre-installed.
