The latest models come with 11th-generation Intel Core processors, optional 5G support and run on Windows 11. The Latitude 5430 Rugged laptop is claimed to be the industry’s lightest, most-powerful 14″ semi-rugged laptop, while the Latitude 7330 Rugged Extreme laptop is ready to take on the most extreme environments as the industry’s smallest 13″ fully-rugged laptop.
The laptops come with daylight-readable displays, with up to 1,400 nits of brightness and glove-touch support. Other features include TPM 2.0 ControlVault for advanced security, Wi-Fi 6E as well as optional 5G support. Integrated cryptographic keys, contacted and contactless smartcard reader and touch fingerprint reader options provide additional device security.
Both the models feature dual hot-swappable batteries that are touted to deliver up to 25 hours of power on a single charge.
These laptops are likely to be available in December this year with Windows 11 pre-installed.
