OVHcloud Announces VMware-Powered Managed Bare Metal Essentials Range

0

OVHcloud has announced the full availability of Managed Bare Metal Essentials range powered by VMware. This latest Bare Metal Cloud offering has been designed to meet the growing demands on infrastructure and technical teams, particularly as companies accelerate their transition to the cloud with rapid, large-scale deployments of digital solutions.

According to the company, Managed Bare Metal Essentials allows OVHcloud customers who are not in need of the full suite of features available as part of its Hosted Private Cloud solutions to benefit from a pre-installed virtualization layer in a secure infrastructure environment that is predictable and cost-efficient.

This combination of automation and familiar toolsets makes traditionally cumbersome tasks like moving to the cloud for disaster recovery, data center extension, and data center migration a seamless and secure transition.

In addition to offering high-performance and high-scalability products with a great price/quality ratio, Managed Bare Metal Essentials provides all OVHcloud customers with high-performance storage and a high-bandwidth network.

Managed Bare Metal Essentials is delivered with two hosts and two data stores, allowing customers to add and delete resources in a few minutes from the vSphere interface or the OVHcloud Control Panel.

Also, each pre-configured solution from the Managed Bare Metal Essentials range includes servers, storage, network and VMware licenses. The platform is managed by OVHcloud teams and automation to help reduce costs for all IT operations (configuration, supervision and maintenance).

Managed Bare Metal Essentials is available in OVHcloud’s network of data centers across the globe, which all hold ISO 27001, SOC 1 and SOC 2 – Type 2 certifications.
