Qumulo Expands Cloud Q Configurations On AWS

0

Qumulo has announced expanded Cloud Q configurations available through the AWS Marketplace. Qumulo’s expansion of purpose-built templates for file data offerings on AWS provides customers the exact fit for both efficient use of unstructured data and alignment with budgetary requirements, while delivering the flexibility to support data growth at a tremendous cost savings.

The enhanced cloud file offering benefits customers in two ways. First, it lowers the cost of file data management for customers. Second, it increases the range of performance options for customers which enables much more efficient AWS infrastructure utilization for a wider variety of unstructured file data workloads.

According to the company, these improvements coupled with the newly announced lower AWS infrastructure costs will deliver savings to customers of 30% to 70% for mission critical file data workflows. Enterprise customers can now use Qumulo’s more performant cloud-native file data platform to better serve the increasing performance demands of data intensive file based workflows.

Qumulo’s File Data Platform allows customers to control their costs, maintain existing investments, view analytics across all deployments and avoid expensive trade-offs by creating a contiguous file system, regardless of where data is managed and accessed – on-prem, cloud, and at the edge.

The Qumulo file data platform also eliminates the burdens of expensive rewriting and refactoring of applications for migration to fit into cloud platforms or over-provisioning on capacity due to limited options.
