Syte, a Visual AI company, has been named a SAP Innovation Partner. With this partnership, SAP will now be using Syte’s Visual AI to offer retailers advanced personalization capabilities for shoppers.
Using Visual AI technology, Syte is said to power visual search, product recommendations, deep product tagging, and more, to help retailers stay relevant in the retail industry. Syte boasts of a list of retail clients, including Farfetch, Tommy Hilfiger, Marks & Spencer and Zalando.
At the most recent National Retail Federation (NRF) conference, Syte drew crowds when they showcased their Smart Mirror technology at the SAP booth. The technology enabled users to automatically see similar and complementary clothing items to what they were wearing.
To date, Syte has raised $30 million from investors including Viola Ventures, Storm Ventures, Commerce Ventures, Axess Ventures, NHN Ventures, and Magma, among others.
