StackRox Kubernetes Security Platform Gets DoD Accreditation

0

This is a conversation with Brendan Wood, Director of US Federal Government at StackRox about DoD’s Platform One initiative and StackRox Kubernetes Security Platform.

The Department of Defense (DoD) has been gradually moving away from using the legacy, waterfall software methodology and is embracing DevOps practices. The organization has implemented many enterprise DevSecOps initiatives to move faster, share software across the organizations in a more secure and agile manner, and also create a hardened process for procuring cloud-native technologies from vendors. One such initiative is Planform One which is home to Iron Bank, a trusted repository of container images. The containers accredited in Iron Bank can be used across DoD. Recently StackRox StackRox Kubernetes Security Platform received accreditation from Iron Bank as part of the DoD’s Enterprise DevSecOps Initiative.
