1/ Npm Inc., a company that runs the popular npm platform, has banned ads from showing up in terminals. Last week a developer named Feross Aboukhadijeh created a JavaScript package called Funding that could be integrated with other packages to show ads. He hoped it would be welcomed by the community as creates a new stream of revenue. He probably didn’t anticipate the backlash because the last place where you want to see ads is terminal. (ZDNet)
