Guest: Rob Hirschfeld (LinkedIn, Twitter)
Company: RackN (Twitter)
Show: To The Point
Keyword: Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

Terraform is an open-source infrastructure as code (IaC) software tool that provides a consistent CLI workflow to manage hundreds of cloud services. The tool was designed to make it easy to work from a command line desktop, but this is more complex for enterprises working around different people and teams. Rob Hirschfeld, CEO and Co-Founder of RackN, explains that people used to running Terraform just on a desktop are not always good at recognising how to put it together to work with other people or teams. Hirschfeld goes on to discuss further why it can be difficult to take Terraform and use it in more centralized teams in this video.

About RackN: RackN was founded with the vision of operators working together to improve IT operations through shared software and community regardless of infrastructure type.
