What Work Is Zephyr Doing To Support RISC-V ISA


One of the biggest focus areas for the Zephyr community is to continue to improve support for RISC-V. While ARM was already quite popular when Zephyr came out, RISC-V adoption is growing and Zephyr wants to ensure that it maintains support for it. Michael Gielda, VP of Business Development at Antmicro and Chair of the Zephyr Project Marketing Committee, explains why he is particularly excited about the challenges it brings as “it’s pushing neighboring worlds (ARM and RISC-V) forward together.
